Can I make a m44 out of a 91/30?

For a while I've been looking for a m44 for a truck gun. Unfortunately, the only ones i can find for sale locally or online are about 250. The 91/30 on the other hand is 100, 80 on sale. Ammo is really cheap also. I was wondering, would it be possible to purchase a m44 stock and barrel and just put it on the 91/30? How much would that cost?

About $110 for a barrel and stock, plus whatever the stock hardware costs, plus the expense of getting it assembled. Or are you a gunsmith?

It would be cheaper to buy an m44. in addition to the barrel cost the new barrel has to be headspaced to the boltface in you 91/30.
