I know I can take my pistol to Pennsylvania to shoot at my club, and my Florida CCW:) will even let me conceal carry once I cross the border from NJ:barf: to the free state of PA:).

Can I take my lawfully owned handgun from New Jersey to a gun show in PA with the intent to try and find a buyer and to transfer it to the buyer through an FFL at the show? (I know that I can do this with a long gun).

P.S. I do not think I can take a handgun from New Jersey to a show in New York because as far as I can tell I am not allowed to have my handgun in New York unless going to certain range activities. (although I can take a long gun to a show in New York).

Hard to know what's right and wrong when it comes to the various states.

I will only transfer via an FFL
I will only bring a handgun into a state if I know for sure I can.
PA is friendly long and handgun
NY is friendly long, but not handgun (too bad since they have nice shows in NY)
NYC is nuts
NJ is okay for NJ resident long, poor for NJ resident handgun
