This "flood of guns" is just the old shell game. No gun owner (in a national debate) is going to say anything to give comfort to the anti gun crowd. Its easier to say that the guns are smuggled across and sold to gang members.
The Toronto police do have some stats on guns used in crime, and yes a good chunk of them do come from the US. Our handgun laws are strict and these people will get them the easiest way they can.

Folks, try and remember that Toronto, or Ontario for that matter, is an entity unto itself. It is the degenerate Liberal cesspool of Canada and one shouldn't judge the entire country by the BS that spews from this one province. It would be like judging the entire United States by only looking at California ...

It's true that the much of the media in Canada is controlled by the left, but Canada has a conservative national newspaper, The National Post. Can you name the U. S. national conservative newspaper? Maybe the WSJ--but only the editorial page.

We have two national centre and right-wing TV networks: CTV and Global.

Other than Fox, can you name the national conservative tv network?

Our Prime Minister and our minority government is conservative.

Mr. Bush might have started out as a conservative, but where is he now? And the U.S. Congress?

California and New York City have worse gun laws than Canada--with about the same population.

Except for the liberal elite in Toronto and the total political weirdos running Quebec, Canada isn't doing too badly.

Handgun ban in Canada? The anti's can't risk it. They'll set up the millions of Canadian gun owners as one issue voters and the Liberals will never win an election again.
