Found on a Navy Arms Colt copy circa 1975, I havent seen these.
The 'monogram' is in the same place as 'Colts Patent' would be

Yes, Richland Arms. They were an importer of all of the major Italian manufacturers. They were purchased by Navy Arms and for about 3 years guns they imported carried both the Navy Arms and Richland Arms logos.

Logo

This is the logo for Replica Arms. It is a transition from Replica Arms to Navy Arms when Navy Arms purchased Replica Arms. You will notice this same logo on Navy Arms boxes of that period. They were made by Pietta although RPRCA has one such marked Griswold & Gunnison made by Uberti.

What is the model of the revolver this is on? Is it marked Navy Arms on top of the barrel?

These "Transition" models are very collectable.

Cult of 1858,
bprevolver is correct, that isn't a Richland Arms logo, it is a "Replica Arms" logo. That's the logo Val Vorgett used for years.

BHP_Fan and Mykeal:
I don't think Richland Arms ever had a logo. They "mainly" imported Armi San Paolo revolvers. They may have done others, the world of BP reproductions is full of exception. Just for my own education if you have a Richland Arms logo or just a link to an example of one I would be grateful.

Regards,
Mako

You are correct, there is no Richland Arms logo. That was a mistake on my part; I frequently get the two (Replica and Richland) crossed up, all the more vexing because my 1851 Navy is one of the Replica/Navy Arms transition guns. Need to work on that.

Don't beat yerself up, Mykeal.
I, for one, had absolutely NO clue what logo it was. I was going to guess Loudenboomer Arms.
