Hey all. I'm thinking about getting some 200 gr Sierra Matchkings for my 8mm Mauser. I was hoping someone could give me some load data for the 200 gr bullet with all the IMR powders listed as I can't find them on the internet.
Thanks for the help.

I would invest in a Sierra handloading manual (which I have). I would NOT trust someone listing load data on a forum for me, especially multiple powders and for multiple loads.
Have you seen the spelling, grammar, and syntax errors on here? Just go out and buy the manual.

some people write just lslike thiss im not sure why peolple dont know how to write but it irritating.,

Thank You Doug, and deacon8 I know what you mean. I'm actually just curious about what type of charges would be used with this. I don't have any heads and was thinking about maybe ordering but just wanted some info, but I completely hear you and agree.

I know what one means about taking someone word regarding loads.

However, someone giving a link from a powder mfg. is an entirely different deal, and yes I would take it as gospel.

Further, many of the spelling and grammer errors is from folks that never had typing or never got used to electronic keyboards.

Has nothing to do with their ability regarding reloading or shooting.

I suppose I could scan and post the page right out of book. It's in a binder after all. But, wonder if that would be against any copy right laws:confused:

Mr. Deacon says it exactly right! Never, never, never, ever use loads recommended on websites like this or any other. One main reason being that anyone who actually knows what he is talking about will never put you at risk with data. As for the others who eagerly tell you their "favorite" loads.. well, you figure it out for yourself. As a famous reloading expert put it best: Two of the biggest fools on the internet are (1) those who ask for loading data and (2) those who supply it.

Well, its glad I know I'm such a fool for just wanting something to look at even though I'm nowhere near the stage of actual load development...was just curious. I'm done looking at this thread, thanks for the replies.

To jcwit, For what it's worth, Your right on the spot in your comment re: typing ability vs knowledge of firearms. As an N.R.A. Training Counsellor, on one ocassion I had to give a student an oral exam instead of the standard written exam, because he was, pretty much, illiterate. Although his reading level was around that of a 10 year old. his knowledge of Firearms was quite impressive. It seems his wife would read the material to him at night and help him prepare for the next nights lesson. This, clearly, was no easy task. However his retention and understanding of the required material was quite remarkable, as his test scores indicated, and his grades were among the highest in the class! He was an avid Hunter, and I would feel very safe if he were a part of my hunting party.
