- Cancel My Denver Flight !! -

March 1, 2013

If Colorado's governor signs that 4-banger set of asinine anti-gun
laws, then they can kiss my assets and my thousands and
thousands of U.S. dollars I spend there annually goodbye. If you
fish, hike, ski, or hunt Colorado's game, which I do (did?) with
LaRue-built All-purpose Rifles, then I urge you to reconsider
rewarding the government of Colorado with your hard-earned
dollars. The way I see it, their lawmakers have voted an open
hatred towards any and all that think the 2nd Amendment was for
self-protection. I will be following Magpul out the door.

It's time for a recount … of dollars spent in their state.

Colorado is surrounded with recreational opportunities, and I will
be rewarding one or more of Colorado's border states with my
business if Gov. Hickenlooper signs any of those four (4) anti-gun
bills.

I hope and urge you to do the same.

Mark LaRue

Please contact our Governor and Senate members and tell them where you will not be spending your tourist dollars or college tuition, and why...

Been there,NOT going back = IF

I will vote with my feet and my DOLLAR.

I reside in NYS and have for 65 years.

I plan on leaving and taking up residence in a FREE STATE,no matter where that falls.

I truly believe that there are many more that are willing to do the same,at least enough that a FREE STATE would benefit from such a new income of housing, food, clothing etc.

Colo. will be off my map if they ruin all the great stuff they 'had'.

Call the Tourist Board and the airlines and tell them you are planning on a hunting vacation to Colorado this year and would like to know what procedures you will have to follow in order to get your firearms from the airline when you arrive and to check them in at baggage when you leave due to the new background check laws that are being considered. If you call and tell them you are not coming they know that you have already made up your mind about what you are going to do. If they think you are coming and are just know finding out that the new laws will affect them the travel industry could start to put pressure on the legislators while there is still time to act.

CF, that's a damn good point there. I travel with my firearms regularly and hadn't even thought of the need for BG checks when I check my luggage. Seems like that would be a transfer to the airlines. I don't recall seeing anything in the bill about those types of situations.
