From Kevin Lundberg:

On Monday, Senator Lundberg heard four of the seven “gun bills” in the Senate Judiciary committee and voted NO for each one. The Senate State, Veterans, and Military Affairs committee heard three bills. All seven bills passed on party line. We have been told that these bills are scheduled for second reading this Friday on the Senate floor. However, they are not yet on the posted calendar.

Email all Colorado senators:

Here is a premade email:

Columbine occurred during a magazine ban such as that proposed in HB 1224. Such a law will do nothing to deter mass shooters and will have a negligible effect on the carnage they inflict. What such a law will do is drive lawful gun owners and gun and gun component manufacturers, such as Magpul, from Colorado. The shooting sports in Colorado are alive and well for now, but you will destroy them if this law goes into effect.

DO NOT SUPPORT ANY GUN CONTROL MEASURES and VOTE DOWN HB 1224!

Full steam ahead, there is nothing stopping this train (at least until 2014). I wonder if our Democrat legislators are going to get invited to the white house for a team photograph w/ 00'bama.

I hope everyone is email, calling, writing letters, and spreading the word for others to do so... friday is going to be a very tense day waiting to hear what comes of all of this...

I'm picturing more of a group hug.

...just the the dem senators?
You say that like there is only one political party working to strip you of your Constitutional rights! :D

This is not a list of all the Dems. It is only the Dems up for reelection in 2014.

I wrote all the critters and sent them the link to Rhonda Fields.

I wrote all of them, and have had one response so far:

------------
Thank you for participating in the legislative process, I value your input.

Sincerely,

Senator Irene Aguilar, MD

I have to say, I think that the 'shooting sports are alive and well' part is a mistake. This has nothing to do with sport.
