Calm down, he's just choosing a side. Nothing wrong with thinking ahead like he is doing.
Some "people" are performing their duty in ways that make the decision more easy to see which side is the right one these days.
Trading(The U.S. does not negotiate with terrorists) a deserter/traitor/probable enemy collaborator who got 6 soldiers
killed looking for him in exchange for 5 high ranking Taliban terrorists, for example.

Still haven't shot my Stingray yet but I've been inspecting and fondling it all day now and dryfiring it with a snapcap to break it in some.
It really is made well. My Shark-FC order got cancelled but I am so getting another canik.

Calm down? This is pretty much the antithesis of anti social conversation. Who is the "they" of government? Clearly states the national guard-heros in crisis.

Not my country bub. My government is composed of citizens with rules and rule of law by our citizens.

"I want to join a militia because if and when the government get tyranical i may fight it the national guard is part of the government."

canik over the zastava easy. you might also consider looking around for a used glock on armslist or someplace if threaded barrels etc are important to you. They can be had under 400 if you shop it. A witness would also be an option. Same basic design, more options.

I have always been uneasy about polymer guns they just don't seem "durable" but that is my opinion.
Guys i appologise if i offended someone when i posted joining a militia, but with how the ways things are going i can't trust anyone on gov. It is sad but it is the truth.

everybody has an opinion, nothing wrong with that. Also I just noticed you were in NM, and guns seem to cost more there, so scratch the used glock idea. But if pure durability was a concern I would look for a ruger p95 or something over the canik. Canik is a better design, but I can't vouch for the materials. Some of the clones have struggled metalurgically over the years.

as far as the government, well I think you are painting with a broad brush. You could probably trust half the government ;)

Yeah this state is pretty gun friendly but it is expensive getting guns here for some reason. I don't know why but before gov. Susana Martinez this state was so socialist.

I can vouch.

Forged frame and slide. Properly heat treated. +P hasn't hurt mine in the least.

If mag compatibility and availability is a concern, get a police trade in Glock.

I've been shooting my C100 and L120 quite a bit. Mine both look/work great so far. They are an amazing value with slides made of good steel and nato spec frames (50,000 round endurance test). They are built by a Turkish factory who supplies handguns to the military and police there. My ONLY gripe is that the warranty is only one year. For the average person however, I doubt you'd ever need it. These are seriously solid guns and in the price range, I'm not sure there is much competition.
