Anyone else have the Canik S120? Thought of worse ways to waste $345 when I picked one up after reading several positive posts on various forums. I was had been looking at CZ 75B, but couldn't convince myself to lay out $500+, especially since I would need to explain ot my wife.

But I was very, very pleased with the results this morning after the 1st outing. FYI .... I am not great shooter. Out of 75 rounds @ 8 yds, only 3 were flyers and I called all of them as the trigger broke. The rest were within a 4" circle, most within 3". Here are the first 2 shots I took with this gun.

Not a single FTE or FTF with the Canik. Gun is tight. Can't say how it will do with all 9mm, but functioned flawlessly with American Eagle 115gr RN.

Only a couple issues ...

1) The sights are not very good. The 3 white dots are very dull, almost a washed out light green.

2) The finish is a little dull, not crisp and clean. Cosmetic issue only. I know someone who does very nice finish work if I decide its important.

3) Accessories seem to be hard to find. I have ordered a couple extra 75B mags based upon some reports that they would work.

Any others out there who are impressed with the Canik, especially for $345?

I like the S-120 so much that I got another....I find the fit and finish to be great...those Turks make awesome weapons...hope they hold up as good as my Stoegers....

I've put about 200 rounds through my S-120 since I got it last year without a single hiccup. I haven't shot it enough to know how reliable it will be, but from the reviews I've read, these are very sweet pistols for the money. I couldn't find a CZ 75b so I bought the Canik and so far I've been very pleased with my purchase. Very well made guns IMHO.

I've got both the L120 and C100. Both function flawlessly. I have reviews of both here on the forums. Great guns for the money.
