the barrel is floated, it should get decent accuracy. The only thing that would effect accuracy is under rapid fire where the extra recoil would get ya (though it's nothing anyway since it's a .223)
I don't have the Bushmaster but do own two of the carbon 15 versions. Accuracy is excellent. With a scope it is not a problem getting 1-2 inch groups with most decent ammo. There have been a lot of reports about problems with the carbon 15's but mine are still going fine. I don't have more than a 100 rds through either one though. I have total confidence that Bushmaster will make them right.
