+1 on that.Carry behind the point of your hip, assuming strong side carry. This will keep you from looking like a tumor patient in need of surgery to remove your lump.
Carry in a canted holster. This shortens the percieved length of the butt and hides it better.
+1 on the Milt Sparks holster too.
I usually carry a Colt CCO (4" barrel on an alloy officer's frame) in a Milt Sparks Summer Special. I often carry my all steel Govt model in the evening because it has night sights. It's comfortable, but I would prefer something lighter though. I'm seriously considering a full size with an alloy frame.
