Carrying with a suspended DL

Off topic or not...the OP posted last Friday afternoon.

It's now Monday afternoon, three days later.

It would be cool to hear back from him to see what he's done to resolve his difficulties.

As it's been posted already, there are other issues dealing with having a suspended license, all of which can be resolved by taking care of the fines in question, which would settle the entire subject.

Hopefully the OP has had the time to do this. Let's see.

Wow. That is a problem. Tennessee does have a photo-ID card for folks without TnDL cards. My TnHCP is a valid state-issued photo ID card and can be used whenever photo ID is required. The TnDL photo and data are horizontal, while the TnHCP photo and data are vertical. Very elaborate cards, laminated with holograms and stuff.

Likewise, the SC CWP is an actual ID card. Photo, name, and address.

I agree with Navy Chief. This thread is done. Passport works, and Florida is where the OP's concern lies.
