Cartridge stop for Stevens shotgun

Does anybody know where I can find a cartridge stop for a Stevens 520-30? If it matters at all, it is for a trench gun. When the slide is worked, all the shells in the magazine try to feed into the receiver at one time.

I seem to remember that the Stevens 520 and the 620 have many parts that are interchangeable.

Jack First might be the better choice for this.

I have the exact problem with my model 620. I have replaced the shell-stop and associated spring, with NEW ones,long ago & it didn't cure the problem! I also left it with a local "gunsmith" for over 6-mo. & he didn't ever "get to it", so I finally picked it up and just let it set in the guncase for the last 10years. I found "you" by doing a search for a cure & a renewed effort to get the gun working right, again! (I had a previous one to this one & it always worked great & would shuck-through the 6-shots in only a co. of seconds) I would be interested in your own progress and would like to keep in touch about the problem & swap info., whichever of us finds the cure...first?
