We finally got CCW in Ohio. The only way to carry your firearm accessibly in a vehicle is "on your person, in plain sight " . "In plain sight" has yet to be defined by the attorney general.
So I came up with the idea of buying a cheap Uncle Mike's holster and attaching it to my right thigh with an elastic/velcro band. With the gun placed on the top of my thigh I will have ready access while still being within the law as it presently reads.
Not sure how other states have the transporting arms sections set up in their CCW law, but I think this method is better than most. It sure beats a holster on the belt and it doesn't advertise your firearm to passing motorists like a shoulder holster would, in my opinion.
Feedback??
