CCW access in the car

I use a Comp-Tac cross-draw paddle holster when driving. Before I leave the apartment, I slip it on my left side while the gun goes in the IWB holster on my right. After I get in the car I move the gun from right to left, buckle up and head off.

Adding on to 38Snub, practice is very important. You'll find that the steering wheel tends to reach out and grab either the gun or your whole arm. Until you get the hang of going over the wheel, solitary practice will help being embarrassed when you find yourself elbow deep in the steering wheel. :banghead:
