CCW for another state

I am hoping to get a CCW for the state of Nevada. I do not reside in Nevada but I travel there a lot. I read in another thread that if you have a CCW in a particular state, it comes up when your driver's license is searched, for instance on a traffic stop by police. Is this also true if your driver license is not for that state? E.g. if you're a non-resident in Nevada but you have a CCW there?

NV does issue non-resident CCW permits.

As of October 1, Nevada will accept out of state CCW's from state that have equal or greater requirements.
