I finally got my S&W M28 last week and it came with a so-so thumbreak holster, but it is to loose of a fit. What would be a good CCW holster (stong side or crossdraw?) I am partial to El Paso Saddlery but not sure if their concealment holster go up to 6 inches on revolvers. Thanks

Try Kramer Handgun Leather's site and see the Thomas Perfectionist...it's an inside-the-waistband rig with an extreme cant that allows one to carry larger handguns concealed, including six-inch N-Frames.

Galco makes their Shilouette for N-frames. It's a thumb break with an open muxxle, in fact most of the barrel will stick out. The advantage is that the cylinder rides above the belt so it presents a slimmer profile and you can carry anything from a 3" on up in the same holster.

I find it works very well under a suit jacket.
