Looking for a good ccw holster for my glock 23. I want to carry it while riding my bike and for every day use. I don't have a preference between paddle, iwb, or anything. I know I'm going to have to go into a store and check them out but it would be nice to get ideas.

Definitely the "Crossbreeds Holster Super Tuck Deluxe". They arent cheap. Think mine was $80. Most comfortable holster u can get! I ride too, well did. Was money well spent. I suggest there belt to. Its very strong. I carry a CZ P-06,excellent set up.

I always like to recommend Raven Concealment Phantom to the Glock guys. They seem like such a good match.

With one holster, and different attachments, you can wear it IWB or OWB. You can also change the ride height and cant just by moving the attachments. All of this is extremely helpful for the guy new to carrying as you can try different carry modes with just the one holster.

My brother has a crossbreed that he likes. I am a Comp-Tac MTAC user for my Ruger SR9c and I love it too. There are half a dozen variants of these holsters. They are very comfortable for extended wear and offer great concealment.

+1 for the Crossbreed Supertuck. I have three CB holsters, and they are by far the most comfortable IWB holsters I've used, so far. Simple, rugged construction, superior concealment, excellent customer service and quick turnaround on delivery.

I also use a Theis, and am very happy with both the holster and my dealings with Tommy.

Take a look at aHolster.com. I carry my G23 and G36 in his IWB holsters. Great quality and most important is the retention and comfort. You can at least do comparisons with others. Good luck. I know alot of folks will cringe, but the Fobus belt holsters wear good to me. Plenty of retention, too..excellent price on top of that.

Anyone use both the CB Supertuck and the MTAC? Which do you prefer?
OP, TTAG have done lots of holster reviews as of late. You might check out their site. They have gotten a lot of CompTac holsters lately.

+ 1 for both the Crossbreed SuperTuck and the Raven Concealment System Phantom holsters. Both are excellent and worth the money!

The CB SuperTuck is hands down the most comfortable holster I've used in 20+ years as an armed professional (military/LE). And the Raven Phantom is extremely versatile!

I have tried both Crossbreed and White Hat. I found White Hat a little more comfortable and that's what I use for a glock 26.

The Crossbreed Supertuck is definitely a good IWB holster for typical concealed carry. Definitely recommend it.

For riding a bike, or other kinds of activity, however, I'd recommend an OWB holster, primarily for comfort.

I only carry OWB and so far I have had good luck with Tagua holsters. I have several and their prices are very good. They offer a lifetime warranty if you don't mess them up yourself.

I carry my 1911 in a Milt sparks VM-II all day, every day, without a problem. The only reason I don't ever carry one of my g-23s is because I don't have a VM-II for them. I also have a shoulder holster that I bought from dillon for the 1911, which I also like very much. If I were to ride my bike I would probably use the shoulder holster then switch to the VM-II for regular carry. If you go with a waist holster for bike riding I think I would get something with a strap, like the Fletch from Galco.
