I have appendix carried a 637-2 in a Remora under a cummerbund on numerous occasions. I even had one with a little tab sewed on (my wife did it) to allow me to button it to a suspender button to be sure it stayed in place. I never had an issue. Admittedly, I never had to draw it, but I practiced with it and could get it out pretty quickly. You can find a couple of .357s out there that are almost the same size at the 637. Plenty of firepower. Don't know how you would carry spare ammo.

I played the closing ceremonies at the traveling Vietnam wall this afternoon. Required dress was our band-logo polo shirts (tucked in) and kaki slacks.
I also wore my "USAF Retired" cap.
I carried what I carry in a tux; P3AT in a Remora holster in my front pants pocket. I had a .45 in the car for the drive there and back.

I strongly suspect that, if you turned all the vets who were there upside down and shook them, you’d find a whole lot of pistols on the ground.

Gotta love Florida!

:)

You guys think it's bad trying to carry under a suit. Imagine trying to carry wearing this dress.

BTW that's my niece on the right in the photo. My daughter made that dress look better. My niece is a very successful model for what it's worth. I've tried wiring these women up with microphones for weddings and they wouldn't even go for that. It was the sister of the girl in the photo actually that wouldn't wear a tiny mic for her wedding so I could record her vows. Imagine what it's like to hide a gun under this.

Sartorial splendor. Nice jacket. Lookin very good. When wearing similar attire, preference to a shoulder holster with a Walther PPS or Sig P239. And...

...my other constant is a Walther PPK in an ankle holster.

Best to you.

Lucky Derby,

The Jet Fire wasn't around yet when Fleming wrote the first novels, it was an older model and it gets discussed about which it must have been from time to time. around here.

I always thought it interesting that Mr. Bond had a car gun in his Blower Bently and it was not a small .25.

I could have sworn it was a Jet Fire. Of course I haven't read the books since the mid 80's. LOL

Carrying while wearing a suit is easy, just buy suits that are cut to allow it. I CCW a 5" 1911 at least once a week with one of several suits. Wear your piece to the tailor, tell him/her what you need and let them do their thing.

Not tuxedos are indeed a different animal. The reason is the cut of both the jacket and the pants.
