We're still a long way from having full reciprocity for CCW/CCL permits, but we're getting closer. This may be of interest to those traveling to Arizona.

Arizona recently passed a law that will recognize CCL/CCW from other states which meet Arizona’s basic requirements. States marked with an * indicate full reciprocity. Some states, including Colorado and Florida for example, will also now recognize Arizona permits. The states whose permits Arizona now recognizes includes:

Alaska*, Arkansas*, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky*, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan*, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas*, Utah*, West Virginia, Wyoming.

I can see Alaska being pulled from the list in the near future. No expensive requirments=no recieprocity.

In Florida, the criteria used to determine reciprocity is excellent. For any state that accepts the Florida CCW, Florida will accept theirs.

Actually, Alaska was one of the first states we had reciprocity with. Arizona's requirments to recognize another state are pretty gun-friendly: 21 YOA, no felony conviction, and a basic firearms safety course. In a nutshell, that's about it.
