My first carry gun was a Keltec P-11. My current carry gun is a S&W M&P 9C. It is barely larger than the KT but its much easier to shoot accurately and quickly. My deep concealment (Church Gun) weapon is my Ruger LCP.

I carry a Springfield XD40 Service (4" barrel). Not a huge gun, but I feel comfortable with it. I made a decision when I began carrying that I would carry what I felt comfortable with and then I would dress around it.

This time of year, i carry a taurus 24/7 pro 45 automatic. It is pretty much a full size double stack pistol. In the warmer months, i carry a ruger lcp, or kel-tec p3at. Which are truely pocket pistols, in 380 acp. I hope this helps. If there was such a thing as a perfect world, and a perfect gun, i would carry a 45 +p that was the size of the lcp with the 380's recoil! But there is no free lunch in this world.

Currently I carry my Kimber Stainless II in a Galco summer comfort. Recently picked up a Glock 19 and ordered a Blade tech IWB holster for it. Be carrying the Glock for summer months.

i would like to carry but the great state of florida will not let me until the age of 21. bersa/firestorm thunder 9 UC 13 rounder, they also have .40 .45. all guns that are carried should have a magazine disconnecter in case the bad guy gets ahold of the gun. seems like this is only a firestorm feature and not on the bersa models. even though bersa and firestorm are the samething just firestorm is the american version. should be getting my firestorm .22 soon great carry gun and just all around fun. was thinking kel-tec .32 or .380 i rather be able to put 11 rounds of .22 on target then risk my life on the plastic popper ive shot the .32 even with the magazine extender not able to keep on target and .32 is money at the range. the .380 llama i had was another story but it tend to hung up on me.

Um Rosshady,

What do you expect to conceal considering a civilian can only purchase a pistol until the age of 21 in the great state of florida we live in???

I carry a G17 IWB in a don hume holster. It's a "full size" glock, but about the size of a commander 1911, just thicker. No problem concealing in a tshirt and jeans.

Compact or semi-compact versions of full-size service pistols. Examples: CZ PCR Compact (counterpart: CZ75); Glock 19 (counterpart: Glock 17); S&W M&P Compact (counterpart: full-size).

correction the law is 21 to buy handgun and 18 to for shotguns and rifles.

you can own a handgun at 21 if you get someone else to give it to you as a aka "GIFT". still doesn't help me not being able to carry for another 2 years. bottom line is i cant carry **** other than a blade i think at 18. you even need a CWP for a stun gun or tazer. so heres your options

1.knives has to be under a certain amount of inches no switchblades even though i love the swapshop.

2. mace, oc,

3. stun gun, tazer

4. gun in the glove, which is not going to help you if your not in the car

your life until your 21......

I'm sorry didn't know a "handgun" and a "pistol" were two different things...??? But thanks for stating the obvious...

your stating that you can purchase a pistol under 21 when you can't i think you meant to say something else no sweat bro. you should have a pistol before you have a rifle, its just more practical everyday use

Yes you are right, I guess my statement could be taken another way. But yes I meant to say at the age of 21. I see where your going though with a pistol vs. a rifle or shotty. If you think about it, I think its thr right way considering if you lower the age for a pistol then you would have angry teenagers running around with a concealed weapon shooting every friggin thing up. As where if they have a rifle or a shotty, alteast you know whats comming...lmao...

one of three, Bersa .380, PPK .380 or a sig 230 .380 each with alternate rds of Speer Gold dot HP and FMJ, have sometimes also carried my BDA .380, also with extra mag, feel adaquately protected with any of the four.

Not even going to glance at the previous posts.

I have, for the last 13 years, openly mocked those who think they can't carry a full-size auto. Comfort is relative. It's not like you're going to strap on a sub-compact and not know it's there. Full-size autos have the most weight to absorb recoil, the longest sight radius to allow better aiming, and usually the highest magazine capacity. Carry the gun you shoot bast. If you're going to carry, adjust your lifestyle, wardrobe, habits, etc, to the gun, not vice versa.

Having said all that, I have recently wondered if I might look at a sub-compact Glock to carry while running, since I can't find a way to carry it without it bouncing. Wait I have it. I bought an eliptical.

I've been carrying a Glock 21, but am thinking about trying on something smaller...just don't have the money to buy anything smaller right now.:(
