I was wondering how those of you who have CCW deal with this matter, traveling in your car while on vacation or for work, and having to cross state lines with different laws on CCW.
I was thinking about the possibility, once I get a CCW, of taking my family on vacation and having to cross into another State which doesn't recognize my State's CCW laws. If I go to the trouble to get a CCW, it is because I want to protect myself and my family. Maybe while on vacation I will have to drive through one of those States. What then? Do I give up my CCW protection?
Do I obey a bad law and not CCW, or do I leave a gun in plain view in the car, not in the glove compartment, not under the front seat, etc?
Or do I CCW anyway?
