I went ahead and ordered two Eagle 17 round mags and two 30 round mags from CDNN. Well they came today (Happy happy joy joy!!) but when I opened them and looked at the 30 round mags they don't have the cut outs for the mag release!:cuss:

I know this was my fault for not paying attention but now don't know whether to send them back for two more 17 round mags or try to modify them. They only cost about $10 so I'm not worried about the money.

Call CDNN & find out if they have 30 rounds that lock open the slide after the last round. Exchange if they have them, keep these if they don't. At the very least you have 30 round mags ;)

cool 9, I ordered 2 hi cap mags from CDNN, (the ad said "new"), when I received them 3 days later, (great turn around time, the person on the phone it would take up to 1 week), I opened them up and found them to be used. Called them pronto, They apoligized for the mistake and told me to send them back, they would check them, and replace them with "new" ones asap. It was worth my trouble to send them back. They cost $70.00 a piece. They are really good folks, who sometimes make mistakes.

I would send them all back, those Eagle mags are all junk. Maybe just keep them for range mags if you can stand the FTF, but some of those cheap mags end up scratching your slide too. For cheap range mags I'd go with Promags or some well used USGI for cheap.

This sounds like a job for ... da da da duh... DREMEL-MAN!
Naaah.... too much of a hassle. Just insert the mag into the magwell, secure in place with (da da da duh!) duct tape and fire away.

As long as it still functions in the gun it was designed for, it's kosher.

I would stay AWAY from the Eagle mags. I bought two 17 rounders for my Beretta 92. JUNK! Wouldn't feed, hell wouldn't even allow the slide into battery. I had to adjust the lips for that to work, then and still they won't lock the slide after the last round.
I would have returned them except I bought them at a gun show.
From now on I'll stick to factory Beratta mags or at least have my 92 or what ever with me to check the action.
:banghead:

Yeah, these mags do absolutely suck! The 17 rounders slide in the gun and click in place but the only thing they feed is ball target ammo. Don't even think about putting any kind of hollow point in those things!:fire:

I should have known it was too good to be true.
I'll keep them for range trips though so it's not a total loss.

Funny, all I've used is ball ammo and they have been problematic with that.

CDNN doesnt like to leave its customers unsatisfied. they'll make sure you are happy if you call them and explain the problem.
