Well, I think while I'm waiting for my Saiga to come in that I ordered six weeks ago :)banghead:) I'll order an SKS. Are any of these three better than the other as far as how accurate their descriptions are and how good their customer service is? Customer service goes a long way with me but I do want the best rifle for my money. What is your experience with these guys (or anyone else if there's one better)?

Centerfire and Classic Arms are good operations. I'm not familiar with Samco. Doesn't mead they are good or bad, only unknown.

Cheers...

I have a Mauser 93 that was imported by Samco and I have no complaints about the rifle. However, I picked it up from a local shop and never dealt with Samco themselves so I cant speak to their customer service.

I purchased a Yugo M70 a couple months ago from ClassicArms and I am very pleased with it. Nice rifle, good price, and they were good to work with.

Cant say that I've ever dealt with Centerfire, but I like their website!

Samco has a reputation for slow shipping, I'd probably order from them last.

I can vouch for that. I've bought several rifles from Samco and the average time between order and receipt is two weeks. Moreover, they do NOT provide you with any shipping information.

I cannot comment on their SKSs specificaly but I have bought form classic arms and would do business with them again. Shipping was timely, service was good etc.

Samco is slow and ordering over the phone is insufferable due to the extra-heavy accent their workers have.

However, the price is right and they do carry some nice stuff, and they will get it to you.

I called Centerfire today and the lady I spoke with was very nice. I asked for one of the "new" Yugo SKSs (new was their description). Unfortunately, they were out of stock. I asked about the Saigas also and, surprise, there were none in stock. I gave them my name and told them to let me know if they get any in. At least I was treated well while I was being let down.

Man, I'm trying to stimulate the economy and I can't get anyone to take my money.:banghead:

I've bought many firearms from Classic. Two years ago I got several "new" refurbs for $159.00 each. Fast shipping, and without a hitch. Good people.
