Just a FYI Centerfire has M44's for $54.99. If i didn'y have a few allready would probally pick one up. ALso Laminate M44's $79.99. Hmm wonder if they would special pick a specific date for me.

Thats a super price, I just ordered a M44 from SOG about 2 weeks ago - paid $70, could have saved myself some money.

I went to the Centerfire Systems website, having procrastinated the past week, and was going to order three of their MN M44's for $54.99 each. They are sold out. :banghead:

So I just called my FFL to order me three of their M44's with laminated stocks for $69.99 each. It took him 10 minutes to get back to me to confirm the order. A year from now when they're going for $89.99 I'll be kicking myself for not buying more.

There is no mention of slings. I did buy 2 M44's ($79.95 ea) and a 24/47 Mauser from Classic Arms several weeks ago. They sent me 3 MN slings with dog collars. Classic Arms lists $99.95 for their laminated stock M44's.

The ones from ClassicArms are probably the better deal though, if you add the cost of the sling ($10-15 + shipping) plus the other extras, it adds up to almost the same price.

True, MOSINS. I like dealing with Classic Arms. They're good people. But for a savings of $30 apiece for 3 rifles I opted to go with Centerfire Systems. I've got slings out the wazoo in a cardboard box that are just begging to be Bubbaed to a Mosin. The last time I bought a Mauser 24/47 from Classic Arms they even sent me an MN dog collar sling with it.

I am very pleased with Centerfire Systems. My three M44's with laminated stocks arrived in less than 48 hours from the time of my order. And, they arrived with slings and ammo pouches. These are some of the prettiest Mosin Nagant's I have ever seen. For $69.99 apiece it was a steal.

FYI. I just tried to order two more laminated stock M44's from Centerfire Systems and they are sold out for $69.99 apiece and say they won't be getting any more. Makes me glad I at least bought three.
