Sometime back, a friend of mine bought one of the mentioned shotguns. Got it home, cleaned it, and put several boxes of shells through it. Buck, bird, and even a slug or two I think. He fared well. Carried it back home, cleaned it, oiled it, put it away.

Next day, he went skeet shooting. In cycling the lever, a pin came loose and he lost it. He contacted Century Arms, which told him that they do not make a replacement for that pin, but that a pin from a different shotgun would work (entirely different manufacturer mind you). He bought said pin, it didn't work. I finally got my lathe up and running a while back, and while I'm no gunsmith, its a cakewalk to make a pin. From my understanding, the gun will not pull a shell from the tube. The action will cycle, but nothing happens. He has not fired it since he lost said pin. Would it be feasible for me to make him a replacement pin ?

It couldn’t hurt. But I t might be easier to make the pin from the shank of a drill bit.

Nevermind. He was poorly describing the issue. It was a side plate carrier screw he lost. Told him to call the company and tell em
