Cerakoting the frame?

Considering having a pro cerakote my P99 frame from black to OD green. (They don't make them like this anymore, and I like the look). How is wear? Any experiences out there? I've seen posts of "hey this is what its like after 2 mos". Would rather see them after 2 years. Thanks.

Wear is fine, as long as the applicator does a good job. Better than blued guns.

When selecting a "pro" ask to see examples of his work. Ask for references. Ask them how well it has held up to normal wear and tear/abuse. Certification by the manufacturer does not necessarily mean that they are very good at application. Some non certified applicators are extremely good.
