For all you Charter arms experts. I have a 1980 or so pathfinder.
When the cylinder is closed, the cylinder is pushed forward due to the spring loaded ejector rod end (protruding thru the ejector star) as it rests against the cylinder latch release screw. Thus, the cylinder acts like it is spring loaded forward, as I can move the cylinder rearward against the ejector rod lock spring force such that the rear of the cylinder is up against the rear of the frame.
In any case, is the spring loaded cylinder effect normal for this revolver?
Thanks
