I have in my possession an older Bulldog (late 70's).
Some time ago I noticed that there was occasionally some difficulty with use of the cylinder release.
Examination showed that the little spring loaded nub that is at the rear of the ejector rod rides against a small slot-head screw.
If that screw gets twisted to far 'in', moving the cylinder release forward doesn't quite get the nub out of the way and this makes it difficult to open the cylinder. The screw is not 'tight' and can be freely put further in or backed out.
Since I know the situation I just check it every so often to make sure the clearance is satisfactory.
Is this 'normal' for these revolvers?
Is there a way to make a more permanent fix?
