Has anyone had reason to deal with Century Arms(Canik specifically) for service/repair? I was told I need a return authorization, that I had cause to request one and asked for a copy of my DL, a second copy of my receipt, which they had since I registered it after purchase, provided a waiver of liability form and told I need to ship through an FFL. I have used Ruger and American Tactical for warranty work and both immediately sent Fed-Ex labels for me to ship, and returned the guns in less than 2 weeks. Both during the worst of the pandemic.

That sounds like a ton of hassle to be sure! Henry was much simpler, only one I have dealt with in recent times.

Is Charter connected to Canik in some way? First I have heard of that.
 
I called Charter about an issue with my Bulldog, a worn out spring. The first question the CS person ask was if the gun had "Shelton CT" on it. I told him it did and he said it had 100% lifetime guarantee. I think they even paid postage.
 
I called them and they said send it in. I had to pay for shipping, they would evaluate the problem and then get back to me. I sent it in and they returned it to me at no cost. Wasn't quite right and I had to pay shipping again back to them. Again they continued to work on it and returned it at no cost. Trying to decide if I want to try them one more time or sell the gun.

I’ve had my eye on a Canik.

After reading how they are treating you, I’m over it.

Agree, however, some forums are setup where the title can’t be edited.

Whether that applies on the Highroad I don’t know.
