last fall i got a TRU-GLO scope from natchez...6-24 by 44 i think... it's a good clear scope and it was about $50 at the time... when i got i was surprised and very happy about the quality and clearness of the optics... it also has target turrets and an ao.... very nice scope for the price! right now it's on my 1022 custom but i haven't had a chance to sight it yet.....

yep i saw the truglo's in the natchesz catalog and was gonna go with those but they were sold out

Dunno about that specific Bushnell, but generally speaking, I've had success with some lower end Bushnells. I have had bad luck with Simmons and really bad luck with a modern Tasco and BSA. The Tasco was the worst - the reticle broke the first time I fired a gun with it on. The BSA's turret knob broke. The lower end Simmons's are usually pretty cloudy and fishbowly in my experience. Try to upgrade to a Bushnell "Banner" for $70-$90 and you'll be happy.

ive had bad luck with a bsa on a 24" AR but my world class 4X tasco has been great on my 10/22

I bought a bushnell 22 last week and mounted it on a ruger 22. It was clear at all the <200yr targets I looked at, AO is no big deal for it, eye relief was decent, decent little scope it seams. I returned it and ordered a BSA sweet 22. NOthing is wrong with the bushnell other than you have to use a coin or screw driver to turn the adjustments, which you have to remove a cap to get to, which is just crazy and unacceptable to me. The BSA sweet 22 has target (tactical type) turrent knobs you can finger turn. It comes with 3 for 3 different bullet weights (pre-calibrated) and a illumintated reticle for $6 more than the bushnell. I understand now after I ordered the turrents may be useless according to others. Maybe I will make my own labels for them or return it also, I'm not sure if any of the turrents just comes with moa adjustments as I don't have mine yet? I have a feeling it will be returned also.

i got a nikon 3-9-40 buckmasters for my win wildcat its one of the best ive looked through and i liked it so much i got a nikon pro staff 3-9-40 for my cz they are both excelent but the buckmaster does have a little better optics in lower light but both are very good considering they are under 200.00each
