Cheap Round Balls

Glass the balls and no spruce. Cast your own and save lots of money, after initial start up. I bought the Lyman start up kit, 75 bucks. Molds were 25 bucks, I shoot .490 and .495.

Ten years ago my first mold was a Lee six cavity. it took a short time to get the hang of it, and I can pour a lot of boolits,quick...never had a problem with them running too cool. just the opposite. just had to slow down a little. now days when Im shopping for a mold I look at the lee six cavity first. as HOT as it is today I want the boolits to pile up quick!!!.............I have lots of molds, some expensive. but the lee six cavity is my favorite. BTW....I pour with a dipper. ....frontloader

yeah ive found the 6 cavity get too hot rather than too cold. they hold their heat well so once you get a nice pace going you can really get a lot of boolits going.

i would like to see lee do 6 cavity round ball molds, dont know why they dont to be honest?
