ok i am looking to pick up a swiss k31 i just saw a friends and that is one neat rifle buddy got his about 2 years ago from a place no longer open so that is a bust is there any good place selling them online cheap and good shape to ship to ffl? what is a fair price to pay and what is the best to buy ammo? 7.5 X 55:confused:

Classic Arms has some with Walnut Stocks for under $200. I got one with a Beech Stock last spring and I was pretty happy with it.

Todd at Family, Firearms & Finishes usally has some top of the line guns. Costs a little more, but well worth it.

AIM also has them for $199. Great rifle but the ones I've seen coming out lately are fairly rough...we are getting to the bottom of the barrel on these. 2 years ago you could pick up a beautiful one for $79. GP11 is the best surplus out there...available from multiple sources.

I picked up a walnut K31 with a service tag under the butt for $129.99 maybe two years ago. $99 + $10 walnut + $10 "hand select" + $10 matching muzzle guard. I was lucky, I got one with a magazine with matching numbers - at one point the distributors were switching out the original mags for cheaper copies.

I recently bought a Walnut stock K31 from Family Firearms & Finishes at a gun show. I'd highly reccomend them, reasonable prices and excellent service.
