Who's got the cheapest 100 round Beta-C mag for an AR15? I payed 250ish(or was it 285?) for one shortly after they first came out but sold it about a year later to one day get the new one with a clear back plate. It doesn't seem like they have come down much over the years.

Just saw one at gun show today for 285.00. I would buy 20 pmags instead(had those for 10 for 140.00) just my 2 cents.

I already have 15 Aluminum U.S.G.I MilSpec(CProduct & Bushmaster) , 2 Steel H&K, and 2 Magpuls totaling 19 mags. The Magpuls are very nice and i would like to get about 6 more with the view window not to mention the 20 rounders i need for my RRA 10.5" pistol and Bushmaster Varminter.

I still enjoyed burning threw 80-100 rounds flawlessly in my $500 Olympic Arms Plinker when i had an original C-mag. I think they are designed very well compared to the 90 round snail drum mag. Compact, light, and efficient compared to a single steel drum. I never had a malfunction and they are just as "Operation" worthy as a Magpul if you ask me. I never even used the powdered graphite lube. A MG grade heavy barreled AR with C-Mags would make a poor mans M249 SAW.

With the price of ammo these days and not wanting to burn up a barrel i really just want one because I can and to show off to shooting buddys. I told myself i was going to get another one and I am while we still can. I already have enough Hi-Cap Glock,Beretta, and AK mags to last a lifetime.

You should be able to find them around $230 still, maybe a bit less on the actual price, but then add shipping and/or tax. Googling the product shows Sniper Country PX with them as little as $228, FYI.

I don't get why they are so damn expensive. Like others said, I would take 20 PMAGS.

I would love to have one, but refuses to pay $300 for a mag that saves me two mag changes in 90 rounds.

In all seriousness, we could make the same argument about lots of gun products including P-Mags. In fact, I don't know why a lot of gun stuff is so expensive, except that it is what the market will bear. Even at $14.95, there is still some hefty profit in P-mags.
