Cheapest hard cast bullet

Greetings,

Who is the cheapest (and reliable) seller of hard cast bullets in 45acp 230gr and 9mm 125gr now?

Kead bullet is way over its heads in orders and the delay is too long now.
Gardner's cache is not taking any orders since a while...

I spoke with them entirely through email- correspondance was quick and helpful.

I ordered their 147gr rn, 158gr LSWC, and 215gr RNFP

the lube is soft- Can't put my finger on it, but its a bit sticky too. maybe lars carnuba or BAC? thats just a guess and I'm not sure.

as a result of soft lube, it does get on the bullets a bit outside of the lube grooves in shipping. this does not affect performance negatively.

most bullet manufacturers use really hard wax lubes that stay in the grooves but don't perform well- stonewall seems to use a far more functional lube.

bullets actually come at size requested, and shoot well for me- but I haven't shot tons of them yet. PM me by saturday to remind me and I'll have a more full range report.

I shoot his 230gr Rn ,200grSWC and just ordered some 200 RNFP and 125gr Rn I had never had a problem or leading. Accruacy is excellant but they are sticky. They do not smoke up after shooting much either.

How often does the stonewall place restock their out of stock items.

You have to email him and ask. He is a 1 man operation and usually takes about a month to restock.

Stonewall is conservative in their site I found. Even if they are 'restocking' email to check availability. He may have what your looking for on hand.

Almost forgot - talk to Stonewall before ordering bullets that you intend to load above ~1100 or so. Unless he has changed his are brinnel 12. He told me that when I was asking for 125 truncated cone 9mm for a 357 sig.

just looked at Alpha. 17 Brinnel. You can drive that bullet probably to 1400+ without undue leading.
