Not a bad idea I guess, but a patent? two pieces of pvc and a tee on each end of pvc with the top of the T cut in half to make the cradles
5 bucks
Love the music though
Unfortunately I have rugrats that crawl around that level so no Shotty in that spot. Also under the mattress is the A1 first spot people look for goodies so if you do get one don't leave it there when you leave...
"The BACK UP is not intended for use in homes with children."--the Back Up video
This is a great disclaimer.
It is a great product at a reasonable price. Right off though, I saw that it would be very dangerous in a home where children are. Other than that, it is a great idea.
Ive seen this before. Its an interesting concept, but am I the only one who thinks that this may not be the best idea? Im a wild sleeper - I toss and turn, throw blankets, pillows, knock stuff off my nightstand. Theres no way in hell I want a loaded 12 gauge within arms reach while Im sleeping. I have my 870 propped in the corner, and my 9mm in the nightstand drawer, both well out of my sleeping arm's reach. Theyre both quickly accessible and I dont have to worry about firing off a round while Im asleep. Sure, I might get to the shotty in the Back Up rig .2 seconds faster, but to me its not worth it. Thats just my 2 cents
