Been stalking the interweb lately and really interested in the Chiappa/Citadel M1-22. I've read up on some of the reviews here and on Rimfire Central, and am leaning more towards it for myself. My son however, likes the AR styled .22s better. Havent seen much on the Chiappa M4-22. Anyone have experience with the M4-22 here? Are they comparable to the Mossberg 715 or M&P15-22? Thanks in advance

I too have seen one and the guy said it was his first time out with it and his last. Lots of FTE's and a pain he said. Couldn't get through a full clip without an issue. The looked neat enough, but not a great gun.

Also, they started out at about $550 on impact guns about 6 months ago and since then it has dropped a good bit. Probably because of returns and no one buying them.

I have a Chiappa M4 upper on a New Frontier Lower and it runs like a champ. Like any .22 rifle, some are more picky about the ammo you use.

i fooled with a couple that other people owned. Just enough to know i wouldnt spend my hard earned money on one. Pick yourself up a ruger. I see them used for around 200 bucks all the time.
