Anyone have any experience with these guys? I am trying to get a FAS 6004 repaired for the second time and from links on their website not working to slow or no response to emails they seem to be a pretty sloppy bunch.

Yeah I’ve been emailing them weekly for a few months. About some parts I need and no reply. Have to look up the 1-800 number and pray I can get to a human.

This is what I got from them in 2017 in an email. Back when they apparently cared about customer service.

Sorry to hear that you've experienced an issue with your Chiappa Firearms Product! You may either fill out our online warranty form located here: http://chiappafirearms.com/login-user.php to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization or contact our customer service department at 937-835-5000 Monday through Friday during the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. We'll do everything we can to get your firearm repaired in a timely manner.

I have not had a chance to call them this week what with normal life getting in the way and a three hour time difference.

Finally got a reply. Having IT problems, blah blah blah. Bascially told me: Yeah that gun has issues it only works with certain types of ammo because it is low velocity. You have to go through a trial and error process... Yeah. For a $400 gun. Done with them

My Daisy cost half that and is made out of cheap plastic. But it shoots. .

"Misfires". The gun just goes "pfft" and the pellet stays in the barrel

This is what they sent me...

"We're sorry for the problems with firing. We have found with this model that some pellets are tighter in the barrel than others and this model is sensitive to the more restrictive pellet brands. Pellets with smaller diameters tolerances tend to function the best. At 330fps the pressure is much lower for these FAS 6004 than many pellet companies design pellets for, you may need to try multiple brands to find a brand that works best."

I have already tried at least two. I asked them for suggested brands and have not heard back. I was thinking about ordering some different brands with pellets that were lighter, but any advice would be appreciated.
