CHICAGO, MURDER capital

Let us never forget that Richard Daley is nothing short of a terrorist! He is singlehandedly responsible for the destruction of an operational airport purely for his own motives. That he did so under the rubric of Homeland Defense is particularly heinous.

He needs to be voted out of office ASAP, but I just don't see it happening. It's even worse now that the governor is almost literally in his pocket.

I grew up around Chicago and used to really like it. Now I consider it to be little more than a cancer on the Midwest. Like a cancer, it is ever growing and affects everything it touches. Try asking anyone in lower Wisconsin, northern Indiana or southern Michigan (not to mention the rest of Illinois) their opinion of Chicago and its denizens.

thats insane! We must do something...... For the children!!!!

Wont someone help? We've got to ban these guns in Chicago....

er... wait.... that didn't work? So whos got plan B?

Yes BAn them again! It seems that criminals forgot they were illegal, let us politley remind tham and ask them to stop killing.

Let's be careful here. Is this a per capita murder rate? I think that would be the correct way to rank cities and states. Not that I like Daley.

I would have moved to Illinois a few years ago when i was working there but the gun restrictions turned me off. I dont care how much there is to do in the cities or suburbs compared to Indiana. I am not going to give up ccw, buy a firearms purchase card and have to worry which suburbs are adding more restrictions when I can just drive in from Indiana on occasion.

El Tejon: I believe if they did a helicopter search using infrared scanning about 4 miles S.E. of me over the dumps n swamps in Gary, Gary would regain it's murder capitol status.

Isn't Washington DC still the murder capitol when you compare it per capita? Shows how well that total ban on handguns is working.
