Choate +4 Extension Barrel Length?

What barrel length goes with a +4 Magazine Extension?

About 22" inches.

Since the 18" barrel takes a +2, and the 20" takes a +3, two more inches is 22", and +4.

aren't shells 3" long? Seems like a 24-26" barrel would be better for a 9 shot magazine.

Shell length is the open length, they aren't as long when loaded/crimped.
