Choke Tube Brands

Hey all,

I think I've finally made up my mind that I'd like an Ithaca model 37 Featherlight 12 gauge. I believe that it comes with Full, Modified, and IC chokes all made by 'Briley' with the order. If I wanted a skeet tube or any tube for that matter, do I have to buy a Briley choke tube or will any brand fit the Ithaca threads?

If another company makes the same thread pitch (and their web site will say so), then you're good to go. Are you SURE it is Briley and not Carlson or Trulock?

The new Ithaca 37 uses Winchester Win-Choke threads.

The same chokes would interchange with Winchester, Mossberg 500, Weatherby, and Browning Invector style threads.

You can get'm anywhere you like.
