The goal is to build a lightweight gun on one of the intgrated-stock GWACS CavArms lowers. My two choices (both stainless) are a 1:7 pencil profile or a 1:8 twist A2 profile. I only shoot 55 grain bullets, so the 1:7 twist really isn't needed. My question is whether you would you expect any noticeable gain in accuracy with 55 grain bullets in the A2 1:8, or would you just save a few ounces and go with the pencil barrel?
