Lost my job to layoff almost three years ago, ran out the unemployment, then the wife had to quit her job to apply for disability. Bad news is, haven't had a lot of spare cash floating around. Good news is she got her award pretty darn fast, less than 6 months, but the first check won't be here till mid-February. I started machining a series of front sight adjusting tools for the Mosin Nagant rifles, and these have pretty well paid a lot of the bills the last year and a half, almost two years, and allowed me to buy the wife a Heritage .22 revolver that a local sporting goods store had on sale for $139, and she was tickled pink! My son got her a Blackhawk nylon holster for it and a box of CCI Stingers, so she's set to shoot.
I got a nice 18 volt rechargeable drill to replace my old Black and Decker one that I've about worn out, a heavy line hooded flannel shirt/jacket and my usual huge summer sausage, sharp cheddar cheese and Ritz crackers. No complaints here.
