PJSprog, yes, enjoying it quite a bit, actually. And carrying it daily, which surprised me as I didn't think it would work out (too long, maybe too heavy). But it's easy; don't notice it anymore than a Glock 19. In fact, the Cimarron doesn't seem much heavier, if any. Perhaps due to the extra 7 rounds in the Glock mag? The sole adjustment I made was to modify clothing a bit: longer jacket, longer untucked shirt, longer sweater.

Devonai worried that, not being an A1, it might stovepipe occasionally. I now have close to 300 rounds through it with no malfunctions. Period.

Will seek a longer holster to protect the forward end of the slide. Currently my three 1911 holsters are all made for short-barreled 1911's.

ExDet....... do you know whether Big Ed is still active as San Pedro Saddlery in Tombstone? He sure knows how to bend leather!

I wish I knew the answer to your question. However, I rarely go to Tombstone even though it's but a half-hour drive.

But I do recall looking for a cowboy-type holster for a Ruger Single 6 and got directed to an older territorial home on Hwy 80. The home had a display area for saddles and holsters and a large leather workshop in back (you could smell it). If that's the guy he was there three years ago.

But there's another: Wm. Brown Holster Co. Virtually the same layout, only it's Bill & Barbara Brown.

Best I could do.

i also have the high gloss blued Cimmaron. In my opinion, the fit and finish rival the old commercial Colts. Beautiful pistol and runs great right out of the box.
