Anyone ever try one of Cimarron's Man With No Name conversions?. I notice that it is in .38 S&W, the same as percussion revolver conversions. What I'm wondering is if the bore is .375 as with standard b.p. revolvers or if it's bored to .357. What I'm really wondering is if the Man With No Name conversion would be more accurate than a "plain" 1851 Navy with an after-market conversion or not. I'm thinking of getting one but if I can basically have the same thing and similiar with a conversion cylinder than why bother.

The "man with no name" isn't a conversion, but simply a revolver made as seen in many movie, Uberti made the first of it like prototipe just one year ago, in an old post with some photo taked in a visit to Uberti factory you can see the first prototipe showed us by mr Merlino, the chairman of Uberti!
It is not reversible to a cap and ball version, if i remember right the bore size is the same of Richard Mason conversion!
It doesn't have the ejecting rod but still had the loading lever without practical use!
ciao
