Cleaner that will attack lead but NOT copper?

From what I've read of shooters choice, its actually better at copper removal than lead removal :/

I presume you mean the regular Shooters Choice yes it does a great job at general cleaning. They have a newer product that is strictly for lead removal, that's what I was referring to

I believe that you are talking about Hydrogen Peroxide as a lead cleaner. I have heard it works, but it will remove bluing.

Soluble salts of lead are absorbable and quite toxic. Use personnel protective gear when handling these salts ( lead: acetate, chloride, sulfate, etc).
