Cleaning dead skin out of p365xl grip?

Anyone try an ultrasonic cleaner? I've never tried it on a grip but mine cleans out all the nooks and crannies in a pistol very well.

Wife beater tee shirt. :)

That's what I call an Under Shirt ... I call the one with sleeves a Tee-Shirt .
My Daddy wore Under Shirts untill the day he passed away ... but he never beat my momma !
I wonder where the name "Wife Beater" comes from ... I think I'll do a search on that term and see what pops up ...interesting !

The dead skin and just about anything pick up problem is my only real gripes about several of my guns. A really soft toothbrush and alcohol seems to be the best bet so far. No big deal, but I like my cleaning to be quick and easy, and not have unnecessary steps added due to sandpaper texturing.

What in the world is the grip doing to your skin ....
Sounds like it's taking off the top layer of skin ...
Doesn't this hurt ... isn't it rubbing you raw ... you need a IWB holster that has a flap of leather / material that keeps grip from doing a "Cheese Grater Thing" to your skin ... or am I over thinking this ?

I have traces of dead skin cells on some of my grips after a range trip. The OP isn't talking about having strips of flesh hanging off his gun, but guns with course, sandpaper-ish grip textures definitely accumulate some cheese.

Go to dollar store and get $1 toothspaste and a $1 toothbrush. The toothpaste is meant to get in under "crud" and lift it up under the assistance of a tooth brush.
Best toothbrush is likely a Medium rather than a Soft for this application. A Large for size will suffice as well.

I have had a large ultrasonic cleaner for many years. It does a fantastic job on plastic and rubber parts. I periodically clean my mechanics tools ( wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.) in my ultrasonic and it does a fantastic job of cleaning off the crud and restoring their "grip". Ultrasonic cleaners are also loved by golfers for cleaning the grips on their clubs. No chemical cleaner will come close to an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning out the pores and leaving a new or better than new grip.

Just make sure to protect steel parts from rust after the ultrasonic cleaner.
