It would be perfect if you owned every caliber, of shotgun, rifle and pistol!

They offer smaller kits for pistols, rifles, or shotguns or combos of the 3!

I would probably lose most of the extra stuff, because I only shoot 9, .40, and .45acp.

it looks great, but overkill for me.

Looks like it would clean anything that one would ordinarily encounter, ought to last a life time.

I have used a few of Otis' cleaning kits. And they are always just alright. Never anything to write home about or something you could not do building your own. Otis is way to expensive for what they are. $90 on any other cleaning kit and you will get larger bottles of gun cleaner, in that one you get a combined 1oz.

I started using the Remington/Bushmaster/DPMS Squeeg-e system and love it. I don't see a lot of people talking about it here. They are for sale at wally for $35.97

FWIW, I am not a fan of such "kits". I prefer full-length rods and accessories for only those calibers that I need.

That said, if you are talking about youngsters, they would probably love to get something like that. Time enough in their future lives to learn what actually works best for them (the first step of which is often a "kit").
