I just got some magazines from AIM for my new TT-33. They were covered in cosmo so I wiped them down best I could but I couldn't get the goo out from inside the magazine. Does anyone have any tips about how to get this stuff out or will the looser tolerances of the TT-33 allow these magazines to function?

Keeterbird,

How long did you leave the suckers in? I've got some old pots in the garage and I could leave one on during the skins game tomorrow.

I might also want to grab some spare parts (thanks woad_yurt) off of buymilsurp.com

Diesel fuel works for me. Soak and swirl and repeat a few times.

How long depends on how "waxy" the cosmo is.

After I'm done I pour the stuff where I don't want weeds or plants to grow -- sidewalk cracks, around the pool plumbing, etc.

The boiling takes me about 10 minutes I get the water boiling and then throw it in. Need a pliers or something to pull it out and dry it. The rag will look bad.
It won't rust if you get a spray of REM Oil in it.

That's what I do Barbasac.
Hope it helps

I tossed mine in an old coffee can and the poured some mineral spirits over them and let them soak over the weekend. That loosened most of the heavy cosmo!
