Does anyone know of a decent gunsmith, in the southwestern-cleveland area. I just need a shotgun reblued, and would rather have someone else do it well the first time, rather than me trying for the first time. Kind of a sentimental gun that i don't want to botch.

Gunsmithing seems to be a lost art, at least around Northern Ohio. I've even toyed with the idea of getting a few armorer's certifications here in my "semi-retirement". There's got to be a demand, I would think.

Here's what I found after a quick look through the phone book:
There's a listing for an NBC Guns and Gunsmithing on E. 361st street in the Willoughby/Eastlake area. They're new to me, but I might try them out--I've got a small job needs doing for which I lack the tools.
Stonewall Range, a range/retailer in Broadview Heights (south of Cleveland), has a professional smith on the premises. Services are listed on the site.
Also, on the West Side (far west, like Lorain County), there's Black River Gunsmithing. Services offered are listed on the site.
I don't pretend that this list is exhaustive; there may be providers elsewhere in Lake or Cuyahoga County, or in northern Summit County, Medina County, Geauga County, etc., that are an hour's drive or less from Cleveland.

Many years ago, I took my brand new Glock 22 to Stonewall to have the NY trigger removed. It wasn't exactly a tough job, but I knew nothing about Glocks at the time, except how to get slide, barrel and frame into three separate assemblies. They didn't break the gun, and I don't think they gouged me on the charges, although I don't have the slightest recollection of how much it was.

HAHA! Guess what I just found out?
Veith isn't actually, gone! They moved and changed their name.
NBC Guns and Gunsmithing is actually Veith under a new name. Same guys, though. And the new shop isn't any less of a disaster area than the old one. (anybody who has been there knows what I mean)
